Itinerary:

Day 1. Arrival day, San Jose. Meet and greet at the airport, on the way to hotel a nice introduction to the country and useful information for your trip. Welcome to Costa Rica.

Day 2. San Jose,  Coffee tour, Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfalls (B, L)
Enjoy a nice day today with a guide coffee tour.  Taste the action in a coffee field from the seed to your cup.  Follow a guided walk in the cloud forest to get at the lookout point at the rim of  Poas Volcano. This afternoon you will amaze at the colorful butterfly garden, hummingbird gallery and the wonderful waterfalls. Overnight in San Jose.

Day 3. White water rafting to Arenal (B, L)
Leave this morning to Fortuna and Arenal Volcano area. Bring a day pack at hand for you will go for a nice white water rafting tour along the way.  Besides the nice class II-III rapids a great chance of seeing wildlife along the way.

Day 4.  Arenal Volcano / hot springs (B, D)

Free morning to enjoy an optional* activity to choose from: relax at the pool of the hotel, horse back riding to the waterfalls, canopy tour, sky tram tour, bungee jumping…  In the afternoon go for a guided hike in Arenal Volcano national park and later enjoy the soothing hot springs.  Dinner will be served at the hot springs.

Day 5. to the beach (B)
You will be picked up at the lobby of your hotel after your breakfast to go to the beach.  Along the way enjoy the beautiful landscapes and the view from the Tarcoles River bridge of the big American Crocodiles. Arrive in Jaco beach by noon so you enjoy the rest of the day leisurely.

Day 6.  at the beach (B) Full day on your own at the beach, great for relaxing, swimming, snorkeling, surfing or maybe go fishing… as examples of optional** activities.
Day 7. Departure day Transport to the international airport from the beach***. Or extend your stay.
